Metering gear pumps are widely used in the manufacturing of a broad range of polymer materials and are suitable for nearly all hollow fiber membrane production routes. They can be applied in TIPS (thermally induced phase separation), NIPS (nonsolvent-induced phase separation), melt processing, spinning, cold stretching (MSCS), and other related technologies. Compatible polymers include PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), CA (cellulose acetate), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PES (polyethersulfone), PSF/PSU (polysulfone), PA (polyamide/nylon), PAN (polyacrylonitrile), PTFE, and many others.
