Leading Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine and Spinneret Manufacturer - Trustech

Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine

The Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine is specialized for the continuous production of hollow filaments, using co-extrusion and phase inversion to create asymmetric structures. Its key advantage lies in producing fibers with ultra-high packing density, which maximizes filtration surface area within compact modules for superior cost efficiency. This hollow fiber membrane production system provides precise control over parameters from air-gap to coagulation chemistry, making it indispensable for manufacturing UF/MF and medical dialysis membranes.

TIPS Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine
TIPS (thermally induced phase separation) hollow fiber membrane spinning is a technique for producing microporous membranes via temperature change. The core principle is to dissolve a polymer at high temperature in a high boiling, low volatility solvent to form a homogeneous solution, then extrude it through a spinneret. During cooling after extrusion, the system undergoes liquid-liquid or solid-liquid phase separation, ultimately solidifying to form a polymer rich phase and a solvent rich phase. Subsequent extraction removes the solvent; the space previously occupied by the solvent rich phase becomes the membrane's microporous structure.
NIPS Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine
NIPS hollow fiber membrane spinning is a process for preparing hollow fiber membranes via non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS). The core principle is to extrude a polymer dope through a spinneret into a non-solvent coagulation bath, where solvent/non-solvent exchange drives polymer phase separation and solidification, forming a hollow structure with an asymmetric porous morphology. This process is widely used in water treatment, gas separation, and medical applications.
