TIPS 8-hole Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinneret for High-Temperature Melt Spinning
Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) spinneret, also known as a TIPS membrane spinning spinneret, is a critical precision component used in TIPS-based membrane and polymer fiber manufacturing. It precisely delivers and shapes a heated polymer–diluent mixture (such as PP, PE, PVDF, or PES blends dissolved in high-boiling-point diluents) through micro-engineered orifices and annular flow channels under controlled high-temperature and pressure conditions, enabling the continuous extrusion of uniform filaments or hollow fibers. The outlet geometries typically range from several tens of micrometers to several millimeters, depending on the required lumen diameter, membrane wall thickness, and balance between permeability and mechanical strength. After extrusion, controlled cooling or quenching induces phase separation and solidification, forming the desired porous membrane structure.
Dual Layer Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinneret
Dual-layer dope spinneret, also known as a composite membrane spinneret, is a critical forming component in membrane separation and filtration manufacturing. Through a single co-extrusion process, it precisely combines two or more functional dopes into a designed multilayer structure and forms them into a layered membrane through micron-scale precision orifices or slots. Its primary function is to achieve stable, accurate, and controllable distribution, stacking, and shaping of multiple fluid streams within a microscale flow channel system.
Flat Sheet RO Membrane Casting Machine With TFC Process
A Flat Sheet Membrane Casting System mainly consists of four core sections: dope preparation and delivery system, doctor-blade/casting system, phase inversion and solidification system, and post-treatment and winding system. The flat sheet membrane casting equipment performance and stability determine the quality and properties of the flat sheet membrane.
TIPS Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine 2-32 holes
TIPS (thermally induced phase separation) hollow fiber membrane spinning is a technique for producing microporous membranes via temperature change. The core principle is to dissolve a polymer at high temperature in a high boiling, low volatility solvent to form a homogeneous solution, then extrude it through a spinneret. During cooling after extrusion, the system undergoes liquid-liquid or solid-liquid phase separation, ultimately solidifying to form a polymer rich phase and a solvent rich phase. Subsequent extraction removes the solvent; the space previously occupied by the solvent rich phase becomes the membrane's microporous structure.
NIPS Hollow Fiber Membrane Spinning Machine For Lab and Mass Production
NIPS hollow fiber membrane spinning is a process for preparing hollow fiber membranes via non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS). The core principle is to extrude a polymer dope through a spinneret into a non-solvent coagulation bath, where solvent/non-solvent exchange drives polymer phase separation and solidification, forming a hollow structure with an asymmetric porous morphology. This process is widely used in water treatment, gas separation, and medical applications.
